Journal Overview

The Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics (JND) (ISSN 2415-5195) is a print journal providing rapid bi-annual publication of scientific articles in Nutrition and Dietetics. Manuscripts must demonstrate scientific excellence and significance.

Plagiarism and AI Content

• Plagiarism similarity index must not exceed 14% (excluding references and quotations).
• AI-generated content must be below 19%.
• Authors are fully responsible for originality and integrity.

Language and Article Length

• Manuscripts must be written in British English.
• Short communication: < 2,500 words
• Original articles: 4,000–6,000 words
• Review articles: 6,000–8,000 words
• Maximum of five tables and five figures.

Cover Page

• Full names of all authors with superscripts
• Institution, email, and phone number for each author
• ORCID ID for all authors

Title Page

Include a brief title (maximum 20 words), author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact details.

Abstract

Maximum 250 words, single paragraph, structured as: background, objective, results, and conclusion. No references.

Keywords

Provide five keywords immediately following the abstract.

Manuscript Structure

• Introduction: Background, literature, and justification.
• Materials and Methods: Reproducible methods and citations.
• Results: Clear presentation of findings.
• Discussion: Interpretation of findings.
• Conclusion: Key findings and recommendations.

Ethics Approval & Consent

Research involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and be approved by an appropriate ethics committee. Include the committee name and reference number where applicable.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledge funding, grants, and contributors before references.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

References

Use Vancouver style. Articles should include 15–40 references. All references must include a DOI.

Tables and Figures

• Maximum five tables and five figures.
• Tables must be self-explanatory and in Word format.
• Figures must be high-resolution (GIF, TIFF, JPEG, PPT).
• Avoid duplication of data in text and tables.
